  • Attend a trade show: If you attend a trade show and interact with us, we collect your contact information (name, email address) to communicate with you and send you information on our Services that may be of interest to you.

  • Apply for employment: When you apply for employment with Whitman Controls, we collect your contact information (name, email address, telephone number) and professional information (employment and educational history) to assess and manage your application and as necessary to comply with applicable law.

  • Contact us: When you contact us, we collect your contact information (name, email address, telephone number) and any other information you choose to include in your correspondence to respond to your questions or inquiries and to monitor our customer care.

  • Create an account: To create and maintain your Whitman Controls account, we collect your contact information (name, email address) and selected password. Once your account is created, we may use this information to communicate with you about the Services or your account.

  • Make a purchase: To fulfil and manage your purchase, we collect your contact information (name, physical address, email address) and payment information (payment card number, expiration date, CVV). We also use this information to provide customer support and facilitate any return or exchange you request. Please note our payment processor collects your payment information directly on our behalf and we only receive the last four digits of your card and expiration date for accounting purposes.

  • Open a business credit account: If you open a credit account with Whitman Controls, we will collect your business contact information (name, email address, telephone number) and selected payment information. You have the option to make payment through credit card (credit card number, CVV, expiration date) or ACH (bank account and routing number).

  • Subscribe to our newsletter: We collect your email address to subscribe you to our newsletter.

B. Information Collected From Third Parties

We may receive your contact information (name, email address) from third parties, such as trade show hosts and data brokers, to send you information on our Services that may be of interest to you.

If you are working through a Whitman Controls representative, we will receive your contact information (name, email address, telephone number) to facilitate and complete your purchase.

To provide us with this information, our email vendor collects your information, such as IP address, time of retrieval, browser type, and operating type. You can disable this tracking at any time by disabling automatic loading of images in your email program.

  • Marketing emails: If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails from us, you can click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. Please note we will continue to send you emails necessary to the Services or any assistance you request.

NEVADA RESIDENTS

If you are a resident of Nevada, you may request to opt-out of the current or future sale of your personal information. Please note we do not sell any of your personal information.
